On May, 31, 1929 in Dearborn (USA) in headquarters of company «Ford» between Henry Ford and delegation Supreme Soviet of National Economy (SSNE) of the USSR the contract on which the Soviet side received from «Ford Motor Company» the technical help for construction and start-up of a new factory, the right of «Ford» car models manufacturing and training in the USA experts had been signed. Term of technical cooperation was determined for 9 years. As payment the Soviet side promised to buy within 4 years of 72 thousand complete sets of details from which in the USSR before start-up of a new factory automobiles «Ford-З» and trucks «Ford-АА» will be framed.
In February, 1930 the first Soviet «Ford-АА» has left a gate of a car assembly plant «Hooter of October» which was settled down in village Monastyrka near Nizhni Novgorod (later Gorki factory of buses). The second assembly factory of CIY (Communistic International of Youth, nowadays AZLK) went into service in November, 1930. On August, 13, 1929 in Nizhni Novgorod preparation of a building site was begun, and solemn ceremony of a laying of the first stone of the car factory on May, 2, 1930 had taken place. The most part of factory buildings was ready to November, 1931 for mounting and adjustment of the equipment. The first 25 trucks GAZ-АА had left the conveyor on January, 29, 1932.
